The Investment Adviser (RIA) product is launched.
Discovery Data Broker-Dealer Representative (BD Rep) makes its debut as the second product
available to clients. In 2011 BD Rep is combined with BD Firm and branded Broker-Dealer.
Our offerings continue to expand with the introduction of the
Broker-Dealer (BD) Firm and Insurance Agent products.
Discovery Data Trust Company is launched, marking the fifth
product in Discovery Data's suite of subscriptions.
Our client base surpasses 200 firms. To accommodate this increase
in business, we move to a bigger (and better) office space.
We are recognized for the first time by
Inc. 5000 as one of the fastest growing companies in the U.S.
We surpass 800 data fields available to clients to help them
further filter for their target audience. Today this number is over 1,100.
CRM Data Hygiene is added as a new offering, quickly becoming one of
our most popular services with over 4.3 billion records updated.
After joining in late 2009, our new CEO Bob Herrmann focuses the company
on data quality, leading to the
complete redesign of data management and
presentation, and over 100 million data field updates this year alone.
A state-of-the-art relational enterprise database is built to offer a consolidated
view of the industry. (In layman's terms, this was a major upgrade.)
Clients are moved to a world class web application to access Discovery Data.
This is where our 5,000-plus subscribers continue to log in today.
Interactive Discovery Data Market Insight Dashboards™ are
introduced to assist in analyzing the marketplace.
Our Salesforce.com app, Discovery DataLink™,
is released to automate CRM data processes.
The inaugural edition of the Discovery Data Retail Financial Services Industry Almanac™ is published
with 250 pages of charts and commentary, derived from over 3 billion historical data points back to 2008.
Discovery Data Map is launched to help visualize and locate opportunities, encompassing
the most sophisticated territory management
and analytics tools available in the market.
A couple months later, Discovery Data acquired industry data provider Meridian-IQ.
Discovery Data celebrated its 15th year in business with over 800
of the industry's major institutions and over 20,000 users as clients.
