Discovery Data Expands its Lead with Enhanced Search Experience

EATONTOWN, NJ — June 15, 2015 — Discovery Data, the leading financial services industry provider of data on firms and professionals, has implemented exciting enhancements to its search capabilities. Upon logging in, users are now presented with all search options at the top of the screen and links to their most used content on the home page including saved searches and territories and most recent searches.

“We've decreased the number of clicks it takes you to identify your target audience so you spend more time bringing in business,” stated Bob Herrmann, CEO of Discovery Data.

The Search Panel will remain at the top of the screen as users navigate Discovery Data so that at any time they can quickly and easily start a new search or change their target audience. Users can now also look up a firm or professional by CRD, NPN or Cert # in the main search box.

To complement these enhancements, Discovery Data has placed saved searches and territories on the home page so users are able to conduct direct or group searches and access saved searches in one place, and download, share or delete right from this screen. A user's recent searches is a new feature also added to the home page and at the bottom of search screens, listing the date the search was created, which search screen it was created on and what criteria was used.
