Discovery DataLink for Salesforce.com Rolls Out More Robust Audience Criteria

EATONTOWN, NJ — October 26, 2015 — Discovery Data, the leading financial services industry provider of data on firms and professionals, has rolled out the newest version of its Salesforce.com app, Discovery DataLink™, which includes hundreds of new search filters available to target and add new firms and reps.

This upgrade does not require a package installation, so as of today all existing clients now have access to the same search filters in Discovery Data within their Salesforce CRM system. Upon selection of the Audience Criteria button on the New Firms and New Reps tabs, Salesforce Administrators can select from all RIA Firms, BD Firms, RIA Reps and BD Reps search filters to set their target audience. New firms and reps will not be added to Salesforce until reviewed and confirmed by the Administrator they want to add them by selecting Add as New Contact, Add as New Lead, Add as New Account or Add as New Account with New Contacts.

“We update our data weekly. This means for the most part, new firms and reps encompass firms and professionals new to the industry,” shared Miranda Hall, Product Manager of Discovery DataLink. “Upon initially setting Audience Criteria, new firms and reps will be those not included in a client's CRM system.”

Firms and reps already linked in Salesforce will not be sent again to prevent record duplication. Discovery Data recommends using additional duplicate management tools in conjunction with Audience Criteria.
